Position Summary
This individual will provide technical leadership for development projects within a telecom ordering system. Will involve working with the delivery team, leading an offshore development team to translate high-level user requirements into detail design specifications. Will include activities such as high-level and detail-level software analysis and design, project management, and resource capacity and performance planning. Will report to the development manager and act as a manager/team lead in the development life cycle.
Professional Experience
- About 10 years of Professional Experience in IT performing analysis, coding and testing of various applications.
- 3 years of demonstrated ability in Design, Development and Implementation of Internet, multi-tier Client/Server applications and Intranet applications using C++, J2EE, Java2, Java Script, HTML, Servlets, JSP1.1, JDBC1/2.0, JDeveloper. Oracle PL/SQL.
- Results oriented and committed to meeting the goal.
- Experienced in working on tight schedules meeting deadlines.
- Strong background in working with the client to define business processes and develop high-level functional requirements.
- Excellent work ethics, self-motivated, quick learner and team oriented.
- Telecom experience a plus.
Technical Skills
- Development Life Cycle, C++, Oracle (SQL & PL/SQL), Java (JDK 1.4/1.5), J2EE , CVS, UNIX, Oracle Application Server, Twiki, Windows & Unix OS, programming language / Framework / Protocols: JDBC, HTML, UML, XML, Schema, HTTP & JavaScript. Position requires experience in object-oriented and procedural design, analysis & programming, and relational database design & analysis
- Programming - Java , C++
- Java Technologies - J2SDK v1.3, J2EE, EJB, Servlets, JSP, RMI, JDBC, Java Applets, Ajax
- IDE Tools - JDeveloper
- Database - Relational DB including SQL
- Internet - XML, XSLT, Java Script, HTML, XMLSpy 3.5 Tools/Technologies
